- First introduced in 2020 to mark Warehouse’s 25th anniversary, the Dead Stock Blue Series represents one of the brand’s most important interpretations of WWII-era five-pocket jeans. The S1000XX was developed through a careful study of an original deadstock example, recreating the details and distinctive character of the period through Warehouse’s Japanese craftsmanship.
Featuring original pink selvedge WWII denim woven from 6.7-count warp yarns and 6.6-count weft yarns. Every process, from the yarn count to the rope-dyeing process, was developed to recreate the character of vintage denim. The indigo yarn retains a clearly defined white core, allowing the denim to develop strong contrast and authentic fading with wear, while the fabric carries the deep, slightly aged tone that Warehouse calls “Dead Stock Blue”.
Period details include iron tack buttons, copper-plated iron rivets, a faded pink rayon tab, a vegetable-tanned deerskin leather patch and paint-printed arcuate stitching. Together, these carefully reproduced details capture the distinctive character of WWII-era denim.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
