All of our jeans are made in Japan, where denim is treated as a true craft.
In places like Kojima and Okayama, skilled makers use old shuttle looms, natural indigo dye, and time-honored techniques to create denim that feels alive. Every pair is woven slowly, showing small imperfections and textures that make it unique — that’s what makes Japanese selvedge denim loved all over the world.

At Mention, we don’t only look for famous names. We search for makers who put their heart into every stitch — small workshops, passionate craftsmen, and independent brands that deserve to be seen.
