- The Swknit series is developed as a technical sweatshirt for everyday wear during the autumn and winter seasons. Unlike traditional loopwheel cotton sweatshirts, this piece combines material selection, knitting structure, sewing techniques, and finishing methods to create a garment that balances comfort, durability, and modern functionality.
Built in a three-layer knitting structure, the outer layer uses 30-count combed cotton yarn, providing a clean surface with reduced fuzz. The inner layer uses untwisted cotton yarn, offering a soft and smooth touch against the skin.
Between these layers is SOLOTEX®, a high-performance fiber developed by Teijin Frontier, known for its soft elasticity and excellent shape stability. This middle layer adds moderate stretch and wrinkle resistance, helping the garment maintain its shape even after repeated washing.
Combined with inlay knitting and plating techniques, the fabric is knitted at a slower pace than standard fabrics, resulting in a firm, high-density fabric that offers both comfort and durability.
The waistband features a stretch rib construction with an adjustable drawcord for a secure and comfortable fit. The leg openings are finished with elastic cuffs, creating a clean silhouette that works especially well with sneakers. An easy and versatile piece, highly recommended for relaxed days when you want something different from denim or chinos.
