- A highly popular piece in UES’s standard T-shirt line-up, the design is best known for its No.8 slub yarn. At 9.5 oz, the fabric gives the T-shirt a dense, substantial feel, while the simple crew-neck construction keeps it practical for regular wear.
Building from the yarn up, the fabric combines 30% Australian cotton with 10% nep cotton and 60% short cotton fibres. This special ratio produces pronounced slubs and neps across the surface, creating much of the fabric’s natural depth and character.
Finished in a slim fit with a relatively longer body length, the T-shirt has a cleaner, more modern appearance without feeling overly classic. With continued wear, the cotton will gradually soften, while the uneven texture of the No.8 yarn settles more naturally into the garment.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
