- The Samurai Jeans S2000HXII is a new model in the brand’s line-up, inspired by jeans from the WWII era and finished with a wide straight silhouette. Samurai carefully studied period details and proportions, then subtly refined them for modern wear while preserving the rugged atmosphere of wartime denim.
The fabric is a 15.8oz selvedge denim, slowly woven on a vintage Toyota GL3 shuttle loom. Known for its dense structure, dry hand, and strong vertical texture, GL3 denim already carries a distinctive presence. By using Samurai Cotton in the weft, the fabric gains additional weight, together with a naturally neppy and slubby texture and the potential for sharp vertical fading over time.
Custom Samurai iron buttons, brass hidden rivets, and a leather patch based on early Samurai designs keep the model firmly connected to the brand’s heritage. All stitching is carried out with cotton thread, with careful attention given to thread count, colour, and stitch pitch. These details work together to recreate the character of vintage wartime jeans with precision, while maintaining the durability and finish expected from a modern Samurai model.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
