- A regular check shirt takes on a different mood through indigo overdye. The blue settles over the original beige check, creating a softer and more subdued colour balance. The regular fit keeps the shape comfortable and easy to wear.
The fabric is made from 100% cotton tweed with a textured surface and a soft, brushed hand. Each shirt is hand-dyed in indigo after sewing, allowing the colour to settle unevenly across the finished garment and develop a more natural depth. With wear and washing, the indigo will gradually fade, adding further variation to the colour.
Black urea buttons, a single chest pocket, side gussets with chain-stitch run-off and Pure Blue Japan’s Shoai leaf embroidery complete the shirt. The indigo overdye and soft tweed fabric make it an easy piece to pair with denim and other everyday trousers, while the colour continues to evolve over time.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
