- Inspired by a vintage 1947 XX pair owned by Hideo Motoike, this piece stands as one of the core pieces in the Motor New Vintage lineup. The design focuses on a simple and balanced silhouette, making it easy to pair with a wide range of styles while staying true to classic denim proportions.
The fabric is a 13oz selvedge denim woven from long-staple Zimbabwe cotton on vintage shuttle looms. Known for its soft hand and natural comfort, the denim gradually conforms to the wearer over time.
Construction details closely follow vintage jeans, with four thread colours and five different thread counts used throughout the jeans. Stitch widths are adjusted depending on each section, and the sewing machines are carefully tuned to achieve a period-correct finish. Additional details include a Horween Chromexcel leather patch, laurel wreath buttons, hidden rivets, and original white selvedge, completing a pair that balances authenticity with everyday wearability.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width

- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
