- Inspired by chore jackets from the early 1900s, this model reflects a time when workwear still carried strong elements of tailored construction. The A-line silhouette creates a balanced shape that feels structured yet relaxed, while the vintage wash gives the jacket a natural lived-in character from the very first wear.
The fabric is an indigo-dyed cotton drill finished with a star-pattern Wabash stripe applied through a traditional silk screen printing process. Weighing around 12 oz, the cloth is light yet substantial enough for everyday wear. The vintage wash carried out in Kojima brings out a softly uneven indigo tone, creating depth and visual texture while keeping the look clean and easy to wear.
True to the period, the jacket features distinctive shaped pockets and thoughtful construction details. The left waist pocket uses a special denim reproduced from a late-1800s American mill fabric, and the custom Fullcount metal ring-shank buttons recreate a pre-1920s style. These small historical touches give the piece an authentic workwear presence while remaining practical for everyday use.
