- Inspired by early 1900s work trousers, this piece captures the spirit of garments that were worn over time. The design features randomly placed patchwork details that resemble hand-stitched mending, giving the pants a natural, lived-in character rather than a staged vintage look.
The fabric is an indigo-dyed cotton drill finished with a star-pattern Wabash stripe applied through a traditional silk screen printing process. Weighing around 12 oz, the cloth is light yet substantial enough for everyday wear. The vintage wash carried out in Kojima brings out a softly uneven indigo tone, creating depth and visual texture while keeping the look clean and easy to wear.
Cut in a wide straight silhouette, the pants balance comfort with an authentic workwear profile. Details such as the split V-back, cinch back, and suspender buttons highlight the period inspiration. The left back pocket uses a special denim reproduced from an old American mill fabric from the late 1800s, adding a small historical touch without being overly technical.
