- The FN-HTK-001 is built from an impressive 20oz fabric — the heaviest T-shirt ever produced by The Flat Head. Designed to showcase the brand’s pursuit of durability and craftsmanship, it delivers a strong character while maintaining the timeless simplicity of a classic crew neck.
The fabric is knitted on a loopwheel machine at the highest possible density, creating a solid 20oz jersey with no side seams. Built with air-spun yarn, it is tightly twisted on the surface for a dry, crisp touch while remaining soft at the core. The result is a dense, structured feel that gradually softens with wear, allowing you to fully experience the character of heavyweight loopwheel fabric over time.
This T-shirt features The Flat Head’s signature “three-needle stitched collar” collar construction. Sewn with No.20 cotton thread, the process is extremely challenging due to the fabric’s thickness and stiffness, requiring careful adjustment and extra time even for skilled craftsmen. The combination of rare heavyweight fabric and specialized construction makes this a truly exceptional piece within the brand’s lineup.
