- The FN-8004 is one of the most popular models in The Flat Head denim lineup. Designed with a higher rise and a wide tapered shape, it offers extra room through the thigh while narrowing toward the hem, creating a balanced profile that feels comfortable for everyday wear. The fit also works well for riding, providing both mobility and a clean look.
Built from an original 18oz selvedge denim woven at high density using thick weft yarns, the fabric has a firm hand and solid weight, delivering the tough, structured feel expected from heavyweight denim. Dyed in a deep, rich indigo, the fading develops slowly but reveals very dynamic contrast and depth over time — a character that The Flat Head is known for.
Signature construction details include raised center belt loops and an offset center back belt loop, along with original iron buttons and rivets for a rugged touch. Inside the back pocket, a bandana is folded and used like a flasher, adding a unique visual detail. Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.

- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
