- Different from the Stand Wheeler Heavyweight T-Shirt, this new 7.7oz medium-weight model was introduced from the 2025 season. Offering a lighter feel while retaining authentic vintage T-shirt details, it provides another comfortable option for the warmer months.
The jersey is knitted primarily from 14-count cotton yarns blended with recycled cotton fibers collected during the spinning process. The addition of these shorter fibers creates a naturally irregular slub texture and a remarkably soft hand feel. Despite its moderate weight, the fabric remains comfortable and easy to wear throughout the year. Faithful vintage details include a tubular body construction, single-stitched sleeves and hem, and a reinforced triple-needle binder neck for improved durability.
Finished with a pigment dye process that gives the fabric a naturally worn and sun-faded appearance from the start. Unlike conventional dyeing methods, the color sits closer to the surface of the fabric, allowing it to gradually fade and reveal more character with wear and washing over time.
