- The S101-00 Heavyweight Sweatshirt is one of Deluxeware’s long-standing classic pieces, rooted in the spirit of 1950s vintage sweatshirts.
The fabric is originally knitted in Wakayama Prefecture, using vintage loopwheel machines operated at an exceptionally slow speed. While maintaining the traditional loopwheel process, Deluxeware intentionally applies higher knitting tension than usual, resulting in an ultra-high-density jersey with a distinctly dry, firm hand feel.
The back side is carefully brushed, creating a raised fleece surface that delivers outstanding warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable for daily wear.
Construction is completed in Akita using a 1950s Union Special four-needle flat seamer, a method prized in vintage sportswear for its durability, smooth seams, and long-term comfort.
Designed with practicality, durability, and respect for vintage construction, the S101-00 represents Deluxeware’s idea of a sweatshirt — not as a trend item, but as a refined standard meant to be worn for years.
