- One of Deluxeware’s signature products, the “HV” flannel shirt series has earned a strong reputation in Japan for its distinctive fabrics and substantial construction. This special colourway was first introduced in 2014 and now returns as part of the brand’s 20th Anniversary collection. Combining red, white and blue in a check pattern, the design takes inspiration from the colours of the early American flag.
The shirt is built from a double-weave heavy flannel, constructed by connecting two different cotton fabrics into a single cloth. The outer face is woven from open-end cotton yarns, giving the surface a dry and substantial texture. In contrast, the reverse uses ring-spun yarns and is brushed to create a softer feel against the skin while adding extra warmth.
A 13-star print on the brushed reverse refers to the original thirteen American states at the time of independence in 1776. Bringing these elements together, the design reflects Deluxeware’s deep respect for American clothing heritage.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
