- Developed exclusively for the overseas market, DX7022 is a limited-release five-pocket jean built around Deluxeware’s original 22 oz selvedge denim. The regular straight cut keeps the design simple, placing the focus on the fabric and craftsmanship.
The 22 oz denim is woven on vintage shuttle looms in Ibara, Okayama, using slub cotton yarns to give the surface a naturally uneven texture. The deep indigo tone gives it a strong initial appearance, while the substantial weave balances density and strength with a fabric that becomes increasingly comfortable as it settles through wear.
Construction follows Deluxeware’s uncompromising approach to denim, with a cowhide leather patch, custom metal hardware and rivets, and sewing carried out on a combination of Union Special and vintage Singer machines. All production is completed at the brand’s own in-house factory, Oldact, where sewing specifications are adjusted by area according to movement and stress. Combined with strict quality control, the result clearly reflects Deluxeware’s demanding standards for strength, durability and overall quality.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
