- Inspired by 1920s railway workwear and the history of Signal Overalls, this shirt combines a practical workwear shape with a taller collar and a concealed front placket. The regular fit and twin chest pockets give it a familiar shape, while the covered buttons bring a more considered finish.
The original cotton fabric is woven on vintage looms in Ibara, Okayama. Both the warp and weft yarns are rope-dyed with indigo, using 12-count yarn for the warp and finer 30-count yarn for the weft. A plain weave gives the fabric a comfortable feel, while rows of white dots form the distinctive Wabash pattern.
Finished at Deluxeware’s in-house Oldact factory using a range of vintage sewing machines, the shirt features mainly triple-stitch construction for added strength. Antique-style shell buttons, a refined collar and the concealed front placket add depth to the design, with subtle details that set it apart from a classic Wabash work shirt.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
