- The one-up collar has always belonged to the more relaxed side of shirting, developing through early leisure and sportswear rather than formal dress shirts. Boncoura keeps that easy character, refining the proportions into a clean open-collar shape with a natural, relaxed balance.
Woven from around 7 oz cotton-linen denim using rope-dyed black yarns, the fabric keeps a white core inside the yarn, allowing the colour to fade gradually much like denim. Cotton gives it a softer hand, while the linen adds a light crispness and a slightly uneven texture, giving the fabric a more distinctive surface as it is worn.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
