- A classic mountain parka design made with 10oz Jelt denim, a fabric originally developed for workwear. Known for its balance of light weight and durability, Jelt denim offers the rugged character of vintage workwear while remaining comfortable for everyday wear.
The 10oz selvedge denim is woven using tightly twisted yarns at a high density, allowing the fabric to achieve the strength of heavier denim while maintaining a lighter weight. The surface features a subtle slub texture, giving the fabric a natural vintage character. The warp is dyed indigo and the weft is grey, a classic structure commonly found in denim fabrics from the 1930s–40s. Nep yarns are also woven into the fabric to enhance the vintage texture, allowing the denim to develop beautiful fading over time.
The parka features signature mountain parka details, including a double zipper front closure that can be fully closed up to the neck for better protection. A zippered chest pocket on the left side adds practicality, while an adjustable waist cord allows the fit to be customized. Cat-eye buttons at the cuffs add a subtle vintage workwear touch, completing the classic yet functional character of the piece.
