- The Lot 4096 series is another special piece from Warehouse, inspired by the sportswear T-shirts that were widely worn in the 1970s. During that era, manufacturers began experimenting with blended jersey fabrics to improve both comfort and performance. One of the most distinctive results was a fabric made from 88% cotton and 12% rayon. Among vintage collectors, this blend later became known as the “golden ratio” T-shirt, admired for its unique balance of softness, breathability, and durability.
The fabric faithfully recreates the classic 88/12 cotton-rayon jersey. By blending rayon into the cotton base, the material develops a noticeably softer and smoother feel against the skin. The surface also carries a subtle silk-like sheen while helping reduce pilling over time. The fabric offers natural elasticity, allowing the T-shirt to move comfortably with the body. Rayon also provides a cool touch, making this fabric especially comfortable for warm weather.
The neckline features a durable two-needle binder neck construction, designed to maintain its shape and strength through repeated wear. The shirt also introduces a newly designed label known as the “Blue Bar Tag” — a faithful reproduction of the vintage label style, reflecting Warehouse’s dedication to authentic sportswear heritage.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit. For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
