- The Fireman Buckle Belt features a distinctive buckle mechanism inspired by the hardware once used to secure fire hoses. It is said that British firefighters began adapting this quick-release metal fitting as a belt buckle, creating a design that was both practical and instantly recognizable. Today, the fireman buckle remains an iconic detail often seen in heritage workwear and vintage-inspired accessories.
The belt is made from full vegetable-tanned Japanese Bends leather, the same leather used in the IPSDB-01 Garrison model. Known for its firmness and durability, Bends leather provides strong structure while gradually softening with wear. Over time, the leather develops a deeper tone and natural luster, creating beautiful aging unique to each piece.
Different from the 40 mm Garrison belt, this model features a 33 mm width, giving it a slightly more refined appearance. Combined with the signature fireman buckle, the belt pairs easily with denim, chinos, or tailored trousers, making it a versatile piece that fits naturally into a wide range of everyday styles.
