- The S511XX19ozII is a mid-rise slim tapered model within the Samurai Jeans lineup, made with the brand’s signature 19oz “Kiwami” red selvedge denim, also known as “Katana Selvedge.” The fabric is woven using No.5 slubby warp yarns and No.4 slubby weft yarns, packed to the limit on vintage shuttle looms. Among Samurai’s original denim fabrics, it is known for having one of the firmest, most rigid hand feels, while developing incredible fades over time.
This model also features many details rooted in Japanese tradition. The exclusive leather patch depicts the warriors Musashi and Kojiro, along with pine trees, a Shinto torii gate, and Mt. Fuji. Two seagulls appear on the patch as well, marking this model as the continuation of the original S511XX19oz. The crescent moon symbolizes the slim tapered silhouette of the jeans.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.

- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
