- The S211VX Benkei Model is inspired by the legendary encounter between Minamoto no Yoshitsune ( also known as Ushiwakamaru ) and the warrior monk Benkei.
According to legend, Benkei challenged travelers on Gojo Bridge to collect their swords. One night, he met the young Ushiwakamaru and was defeated by his swift movement and skill. After this encounter, Benkei pledged his loyalty and served Yoshitsune for the rest of his life.
The jeans are made from Samurai’s 17oz “Bushido” selvedge denim, known for its strong, grainy texture. The relaxed tapered fit features a mid-to-high rise, comfortable room through the thighs, and a gentle taper toward the hem, creating an easy, natural fit for everyday wear.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
