- Inspired by the classic Type 1 jacket, this piece keeps the original balance and character while adapting it for modern wear.
The silhouette has been thoughtfully refined to follow the natural shape of the body. The armholes are shaped for comfort, and the back panel features pleats that allow easy movement, giving the jacket a relaxed feel while maintaining a clean, refined look.
The fabric is custom-made by Omoto Denim. This 15.5oz denim is woven on vintage Toyoda shuttle looms using long slub warp yarns and short nep weft yarns, creating a distinctive slubby, neppy texture. Pure indigo rope dyeing allows the fabric to develop beautiful vertical fading over time.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
