- The S0510XX-BOB “Black on Blue” is a newly designed model with a deep, solid black tone at first glance. In Japanese, this concept is referred to as “Aoki Tachikage,” inspired by the image of a samurai sword cutting through the darkness. It captures the sharp, silent movement of a blade and gives the denim a strong yet quiet presence.
The 15oz selvedge denim is specially developed for this model. The yarn is first rope-dyed in indigo, then re-dyed using sulphur black, with the warp finished in a deep black tone. This creates a rich, layered depth beneath the surface. As the denim ages, the fading process becomes especially unique — the black gradually fades into deep blue, and over time into a lighter blue, allowing you to enjoy the indigo fade in a different way.
As the name “Black on Blue” suggests, blue stitching is used across the black denim, creating a subtle contrast. A blue-coated top button adds a small but distinct detail, while the leather patch and paper flasher are designed with a black silhouette motif. Together, these elements create a dark, slightly mysterious atmosphere, carrying the quiet intensity of the “Aoki Tachikage” concept throughout the piece.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
