- Inspired by classic service shoes, this boot draws from footwear originally developed for military use, known for its plain-toe design, clean appearance, and durable construction. The toe is built without a structured cap, creating a sleek narrow-last silhouette that feels closer to a dress shoe while maintaining the rugged character of work footwear.
The leather is full vegetable-tanned Italian horsebutt supplied by Maryam tannery, a respected Italian tannery known for producing high-quality vegetable-tanned leathers. The dense fiber structure and natural grain variation unique to horsebutt give each pair a distinctive look. Using crust leather as the base, Moto craftsmen hand-dye each pair individually, allowing the color to fade with wear and gradually reveal the characteristic brown tea-core beneath.
The midsole uses Italian oak-bark-tanned bends leather, providing strength and structural support, as well as excellent flexibility, walking comfort, and long-term durability. A half rubber sole has been added at our request, further enhancing durability and practicality for everyday wear. Built with Goodyear welt construction, the boots feel relatively comfortable from the start and gradually conform to the shape of the foot. Tough yet refined, they are versatile enough for daily wear across a wide range of conditions.
