- The S5100VX Zero+ Model is an updated version of Samurai’s Zero Series. While it retains the same 17oz selvedge denim weight, the yarns are spun with a harder twist and dyed with a deeper indigo. This results in a fabric that maintains the unevenness and rough texture of the original Zero Series, while offering a subtle difference in character compared to the standard 17oz “Bushido” selvedge denim.
The iron buttons are newly developed, inspired by the color of shakudo metal and the traditional niiro finish that has been used for weapons and ornaments in Japan since ancient times. Over time, the surface softens and the shine settles, allowing a natural patina to develop and revealing the character of the metal through wear.
The leather patch is newly designed for this model and features an illustration of Musashi and Kojiro with their swords crossed. This imagery reflects tension and balance, adding a quiet layer of meaning to the Zero+ series.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
