- The SPZ-00 Heavyweight Full-Zip Parka is one of Deluxeware’s long-standing classics, rooted in the construction and character of 1950s vintage sportswear.
The original fabric is knitted in Wakayama Prefecture on vintage loopwheel machines running at an exceptionally slow speed. While preserving the traditional loopwheel process, Deluxeware applies a higher knitting tension than usual, creating an ultra-high-density jersey with a distinctly dry and firm hand.
The reverse is carefully brushed to create a soft fleece surface, providing excellent warmth while remaining breathable and comfortable for everyday wear. Construction is completed in Akita using a 1950s Union Special four-needle flat seamer, producing durable, smooth seams that sit comfortably against the body.
Built with practicality, durability and respect for vintage construction, the SPZ-00 represents Deluxeware’s approach to the full-zip parka — a dependable standard designed to be worn for years.
