- Waffle thermals have their roots in early American workwear and military underwear, valued for their ability to provide warmth without excessive weight. Designed to be worn as both a base layer and a standalone piece, this Henley carries that heritage forward while working just as well as everyday wear.
The fabric is an original double waffle knit produced on a traditional honeycomb knitting machine. Its textured structure creates small air pockets that help retain body heat, providing natural insulation. With a higher yarn density and generous yarn usage, the fabric offers solid thickness, durability, and excellent stretch while maintaining a firm yet comfortable feel.
Available in a range of rich, characterful colors, the Henley neckline adds a timeless touch, making it perfect for layering under shirts or jackets. Comfortable, practical, and easy to style, it’s a versatile thermal suited for everyday wear across seasons.
