- Following the S710SC-KI, Samurai introduces the S510SC-KI model, finished in a regular straight fit that offers a clean, balanced silhouette.The special 18oz fabric is developed from the yarn up, using Samurai’s own organic cotton, carefully hand-picked to preserve its natural character. To retain the original look and feel of the cotton, no dyeing or bleaching is applied, allowing the fabric to express the raw qualities of the fiber itself.
Rather than fully removing cotton stems during processing, a small amount is intentionally left behind. This results in a natural, uneven texture and a richly expressive kinari denim with visible irregularity and depth.
The brown selvedge represents Samurai’s cotton farm in Sasayama, Hyogo Prefecture. The natural kinari tone reflects the cotton itself, while the earthy selvedge color symbolizes the soil, creating a quiet yet beautiful contrast.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
