- The Vanishing West Lot.601XX 1945 represents a late-war WWII model, produced toward the very end of the conflict. In simple terms, this is a final-phase wartime irregular model, reflecting a period when specifications were in transition and inconsistencies naturally occurred during production.
One of the defining characteristics of this model is its irregular construction. While wartime restrictions were still in place, certain elements were partially reverted to earlier specifications — resulting in details such as the reintroduction of a crotch rivet, combined with lightweight denim pocket bags. These mixed specifications capture the reality of late-war manufacturing, where practicality often overrode uniformity.
The denim uses the same original 14oz selvedge fabric developed for the 1942 model, built entirely from the yarn up. The fabric offers a firm, structured feel with excellent shape retention, while maintaining strong vertical fading potential. Its balanced character reflects both durability and the practical character of wartime denim.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
