- The 946A Chino is a long-term best seller in Deluxeware’s bottoms collection. Inspired by classic military chinos, it blends design elements from multiple eras into a single, well-balanced model. By combining historical construction with modern material quality, the 946A offers a refined interpretation that respects vintage origins while remaining practical for everyday wear.
The fabric is a high-density chino cloth woven in Osaka from strongly twisted No.14 and No.16 American cotton yarns. Rather than simply reproducing vintage chino cloth, the material exceeds traditional standards in durability while retaining the crisp texture and dry touch characteristic of classic military chinos. This balance of strength and comfort gives the trousers a firm structure that gradually softens with wear.
The 946A features a regular straight fit, creating a clean and versatile silhouette suited to a wide range of styling. While the standard production model is offered only with a long inseam, this special order is available in a shorter length, offering a more practical ready-to-wear option with no hemming required.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
