- Moto’s Contemporary Native collection is built on the idea of reinterpreting traditional craftsmanship through the perspective of modern Japanese artisans, transforming heritage techniques and symbols into jewelry that fits naturally into everyday life.
Contemporary reflects creation from the viewpoint of today’s craftspeople, while Native refers to indigenous traditions — handcraft techniques, patterns, and symbols passed down through cultures, carrying traces of history, lifestyle, and belief. Together, the collection aims to redefine tradition through a modern visual language.
Inspired by handcraft traditions from around the world, the silver jewelry features motifs drawn from land, culture, and daily life — such as symbolic patterns, animal forms, and natural signs. Reimagined by contemporary Japanese silversmiths, these elements are blended with a quiet modern sensibility for everyday wear.

Shoulder Width
- Measure straight across from shoulder seam to shoulder seam on the back.
Chest Width
- Measure straight across the front of the garment, from armpit to armpit.For size chart reference, chest measurement is shown as full circumference ( flat measurement x 2 ).
Waist Width
- Measure across the narrowest part of the shirt — from seam to seam — between the chest and the hem.
Hem Width
- Measure straight across the bottom edge of the shirt, from one side seam to the other — just above the curved hem.
Sleeve Length (Set-In)
- Measure from the top of the shoulder seam straight to the end of the cuff.
Sleeve Length (Raglan)
- Measure from seam of collar all the way down to the end of the cuff.
Armhole
- Measure vertically from the shoulder seam down to the bottom of the armhole seam.
Body Length
- Measure from the center of the base of the collar (just below the collar band) straight down to the bottom hem.
